I found a forest near a river,
When I went there, I started to shiver.
I realized that it was cold,
“It’s never warm here”, someone told.
There were Teak, Sal and Peepal trees,
There blew a gentle breeze.
There were monkeys, snakes and crocodiles,
There were beehives shaped like hexagonal tiles.
Although there is a lot of interest and mystery,
The jungles live in hurt misery.
A lot of these beauties are being cut down,
Stop this to save the Earth’s crown.
