Avi Shrivastava, Class IX G
The spark which turned into fire,
Had not been seen by the Englishmen prior.
Broke out from the nation’s core,
From Peshawar to Calcutta’s shore.
After years of slavery’s night,
Ignited the fire with much awaited light.
Then came the fire in a thousand flames,
With independence as the only aim.
Against one common foe,
None could suppress the fire which has the fuel to grow.
The spark which turned into fire,
Had not been seen by the Englishmen prior!
