Ishika Mundhra, Class X D
It sounds unreal but it was actually happening. Today was the day Sia would never forget in her life. Sia, a hardworking, beautiful, young woman who had been struggling a lot to prove herself was maybe the happiest person on this planet today. Finally, the determined young lady had shown the world and all those stereotypical people that a girl is no less than a boy.
When Sia had turned fourteen, her parents (like all Indian parents) had told her that it was time to start thinking about her future. They told her that she was big enough to begin the ‘career hunt’. Sia started researching and came across many amazing and incredible career options, but nothing appealed to her enough to pursue it. After much thought and study she came across the option ‘legal studies’. It seemed to click in place immediately. The girl then started dreaming about nothing but how she will become a lawyer.
She worked tirelessly day and night, achieved good grades in her board exams, got a good score in her SAT’s and CLAT and even earned a scholarship to the Harvard Law School. She fought all those who tried to demoralize and distract her. Finally, she became a successful corporate lawyer. But her dream hadn’t been fulfilled yet. She worked harder than ever, didn’t sleep at night, forgot to eat during the daytime and strived fanatically, and her efforts didn’t go in vain. Today she finally accomplished her goal and was inaugurating her tenth law-firm. The chain of law firms she owned was ranked the best in the whole of United States. The unbreakable Sia then let the insuppressible tears of joy flow down her eyes.
