The Shishukunj International School is one big family and we believe in equality and dignity of labour. As a token of appreciation towards the ever-hardworking and relentless support staff, a recreational activity day ‘Umang’ was celebrated on March 23, 2024.

The most awaited sports fest was inaugurated by Director Mr. Manoj Davey, and Principal Dr. Vijay Singh Parihar, and executed by the meticulous sports department. The event kickstarted with cricket matches for the male staff members. Around 81 players participated in the preliminary round. The six teams were named after renowned cricket players. After a nail-biting final match, Mr. Balvir Singh won the Man of the Match Award and Mr. Raghuveer bagged the Man of the Series Award.

Equally enthusiastic around 93 female support staff participated in various sports events that included team and individual competitions i.e. glass pyramid, balloon passing, gift hunt, ball on bowl, lemon spoon race, basketball, etc. The traditional games Lagori and Stapoo saw zealous participation. The participants relished a scrumptious meal after enjoying the team-building sports events and the felicitation ceremony. On this occasion, Vice-Principal Ms. Asha Bhatia, Primary Head Ms. Ameeta Choudhary, and Pre-Primary Head Ms. Rupashree Sapru along with the educators encouraged the participants and thanked them for their unwavering support.

The day filled with fun and frolic brought smiles to the faces of the people behind our institution’s smooth functioning. We acknowledge their contribution and are always thankful.
