The Bureau members of the SISMUN North 2023 were engaged in a training session mentored by Mr. Anansh Prasad, the CEO of Skillsphere Education on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1.
The tailored training content helped the Bureau members imbibe essential leadership skills required to become effective bureau members at an MUN conference. It covered topics such as committee management, delegates’ guidance, developing relevant reading material, and conflict resolution. The training emphasized effective public speaking, teamwork, and research skills, as well as the role of bureau members in enabling delegates to achieve optimal performance.
The Bureau members were briefed on the process of conducting an MUN based on UNA-USA and UN4MUN procedures which will be followed in the SISMUN 2023. To recement their learning of the procedure, a simulation was conducted on both the days.
It was truly an enriching opportunity for our Shishyans, who are working tirelessly to welcome the delegates and make the inaugural NC MUN a bang on success.
