The Shishukunj International School, North Campus, commemorated the 76th Republic Day with a series of vibrant celebrations across different wings from January 23 to 26, 2025, instilling patriotism and unity among the Shishyans.
The Primary Wing’s special assembly on January 23, conducted by Class II Shishyans, showcased a compelling nukkad natak on the Constitution, a grand parade, and a unique presidential address by a student portraying Hon’ble President Droupadi Murmu. The highlight was the colourful tableaus representing India’s diverse traditions, followed by energetic folk dances celebrating the nation’s rich heritage.
On January 25, the Junior KG Shishyans of Orchid, Iris, Jasmine, and Daffodil presented a spectacular display of India’s cultural vibrancy. Their spirited performances, patriotic songs, and synchronized dances filled the atmosphere with national pride, culminating in a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem.
The grand celebration on January 26 commenced with the flag hoisting by Chief Guest Dilip Bhaiya, the gardener of the school, followed by a solemn tribute to India’s unsung heroes through portraits and storytelling. Shishyans showcased their artistic talents, honouring the sacrifices of the Param Vir Chakra awardees. The celebration concluded with a breathtaking fusion dance performance, symbolizing the unity of tradition and modernity.
