‘Wisdom is giving children their wings, along with the guard of awareness to keep them safe.’

With the same thought in mind The Shishukunj International School, North Campus in collaboration with Young Indians (Youth Wing of CII) Masoom project organized a session of Safe and Unsafe touch for the students of Junior KG – Class 2 on Wednesday, February 15, 2024.

This session gave the students the warmth of wellbeing along with a message of good and bad touch. The motto of the session was to enlighten the children that their body belongs to them and they need to stay safe and secure.

The presentation conducted by the Masoom team helped the students learn about their private body parts, to say ‘No’ to strangers, report any unwanted touch and the child helpline number 1098. The tiny Shishyans were guided to identify their circle of trust, be alert and inform their parents or teachers without feeling ashamed.

The session fulfilled the objective of spreading awareness that children are the boss of their bodies and in any circumstances of mishaps it is never their fault.

This age- appropriate presentation made our little ones aware of dangers and how they can safeguard themselves from an early age.
