“We all have different inspirations, but one goal; a better world”
– Ernesto Arguello
A positive classroom culture empowers students with academic knowledge, intercultural skills, and a global attitude. At Shishukunj International, educators consistently upgrade themselves to provide a global learning environment for their learners and build cultural bridges. Our educators from the primary and senior wing participated in a three-day workshop called “Pathway to Global Classrooms” that was led by AFS India curator Ms. Sarita Badhwar.
The training aimed to equip educators with the intercultural learning skills they need, together with fresh approaches and tools, to help students get ready for life in a multicultural world. The D.I.V.E model which specifically deals with ambiguity and suspending judgement was introduced to educators together with many cultural dimensions, communication styles, and stereotypes against generalisations.
All educators avidly participated in group discussions, roleplays, team presentations, interesting video reflections, etc. during the intensely interactive sessions. These training sessions give educators real-world experience, advance the standards of teaching methods, and improve the school’s learning environment.
