The Power of Speech is a Great Blessing!

Earth Day is a significant event celebrated worldwide on April 22nd every year to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable actions. As part of the Earth Day celebrations and in order to augment the art of public speaking skills, we organized an Intra Class English Elocution Competition for the Shishyans of Grade 5. Participants presented speeches on a range of environmental topics, including Go Green and Save Green, One Earth, One Chance, Earth Day is a Magical Day, Renewable energy and Conservation. Our Shishyans amazed us by doing thorough research and reflected upon the topics by articulating their perspectives on environmental issues. This event served as a catalyst for positive change. It fostered a sense of environmental responsibility among students and encouraged them to become advocates for the protection of our planet. It also showcased the power of effective communication and inspired the listeners to take action, reminding all of us that every small step towards sustainability can contribute to a healthier and greener future for generations to come. Shishyans also expressed their commitment to taking personal actions to conserve natural resources. The event concluded successfully with great words of encouragement and appreciation from both the respected adjudicators.
