Jeanette Winterson, a renowned British poet and writer, once said about poetry; “It isn’t a hiding place. It is a finding place”. Poetry allows students to truly express their own unique selves, intertwining their creative thoughts with poetic skill. 

To give them an opportunity to experiment with language without being confined by rigid grammar and structures, students were motivated to think outside the box and find creative ways to express their thoughts and feelings through self – composed poems.

The young poets of grade VIII enthralled the audiences with their self composed poems. It was a splendid opportunity for them to gain confidence. Everyone was delighted after seeing their pleasing performances.
