Under the social studies chapter “LOOKING AT THE WORLD”, Shishyans of class IV played the Direction Game. The Shishyans were asked to find the direction of the various places in school with the help of a compass. The places included were staff room, dining hall, basketball court and pre-primary wing.

They had to navigate and tell their friends the direction where the mentioned areas were located.

The main objective behind this activity was to make them understand why having knowledge about directions is important and how a compass helps in finding the correct directions. The activity gave them hands-on experience on the usage of compass and helped the shishyans in understanding the working of the same.
