Our bundles of joy, the children of Nursery made their presence felt on Friday, September 15 as they dressed up as various community helpers. They brought a smile to everyone’s face from the time they alighted their buses and trudged happily declaring the person they had dressed up as. The children also carried interesting props to depict their role play, which they proudly showcased. The most popular dress ups were policemen, soldiers and doctors. We also had chefs, green grocers, engineers, a teacher, a yoga trainer, a farmer and above all a scientist who also carried a model of Chandrayaan 3. The event was a great success with most ‘community helpers’ being able to speak at least one line about themselves.
Next, they walked through the corridor observing and assimilating the displays on the softboards that covered neighbourhood services and community helpers.
The tiny tots then visited different parts of the school and interacted with various staff members such as the nurse, guards, bus drivers, conductors, and other helping staff. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day.
