Hridhima Tyagi, Class VIII B
“It’s lunch time!” shouted Harry, “Sarah, show us your tricks.”
Sarah, a tall girl, was famous for her magic tricks. She stood in the center of the children. “Here are two of my pet bugs. Now I will remove the cloth and presto! The bugs are gone.” She pushed the cloth towards Harry. The bugs lay crawling there. As Harry bent for a closer look, the bugs suddenly jumped onto Harry’s nose. Harry fainted.
“Babloo fistzi non.”
“Huh?” Harry sat up confused, “What did you say?”
“Babloo fistzi non.”
“I am sorry but I don’t understand”, Harry said looking bewildered as he watched the alien speak. The latter looked like a man but was wearing a skirt.
“He is asking you to get up,” answered a tall thin girl dressed in a milky white shirt and black pants. Her shoes looked like they were made of polished chocolate.
“Here, have this,” she pushed forward a plate of crisps.
Harry jumped upon them but he soon realized that the crisps were made of steel. He threw them away. That is when he realized that all of them were robots.
“You are under our control now,” said the girl.
The robot pushed Harry into a small cell while he kept shouting, “Sarah, mother, father!”
“Can they hear you?” asked the girl.
Harry shook his head.
“So shut up.”
Suddenly, another girl appeared at the door. She opened it and motioned Harry to come fast.
“Shouldn’t I be the prince saving a princess!” he thought as he was rescued by the girl.
“It’s a world of twists! Let’s go through the water fall,” said the girl.
Harry looked in amazement as the water fall was ‘falling’ upwards.
Suddenly, a policeman came on a cycle and on the other side he saw a milkman in a police car.
“This world is really confusing,” he said to himself.
He was soon in the middle of the waterfall. But he was not quick enough and was flung up and up and up.
Harry woke and saw himself surrounded by Sarah and other children.
“Babloo fistzi non.”
Harry watched in amazement as his tongue spoke an alien language. The world of twists was really on his mind now. He tried the rest of the day to speak in his own language. It was really tiring.
