“A picture is worth a thousand words” This is a common saying everyone uses, but do you know what it means? It means that a single picture can demonstrate what you are trying to say.
Photography is a medium through which we can show different perspectives to the world. It is more like a language but it does not have words. All of us might or might not have seen some attractive photographs in our life. They certainly have some words hidden inside.
Looking at a picture is more like a brain teaser. We always try to analyze what the photographer might have tried to capture in a picture. More of a detective work. When we try to capture an idea in a picture it is very thoughtful and that is why we say that photographers are the ones who are more thoughtful towards creativity.
Photography captures the moment that is already gone and impossible to reproduce. We love to click photographs whenever we go on an excursion. We use photography to store memories of vacations, school competitions, special occasions etc. We read many types of books. But we only understand the ones with pictures better. We see different articles and news on the internet, but have you noticed that each and every one of them has a picture associated with it. Why? Because if we have a glimpse of it before reading then we can try to analyze what it is all about. This makes us more interested in reading that particular article or news.
Some of us use photography as a hobby or a talent. Wherever we go or even if we are at home we like to take photographs of anything. Being kids, most of us start taking pictures for fun. Sometimes, our mother had to rebuke us for doing so. Most of us love to take selfies and edit them to make them more interesting. Some photographers also add artificial backgrounds to make it look attractive. I think that they do this not only for making their photographs more popular but also to make other people who are not interested in the art of photography, interested in the profession to expand it across the world. To conclude I would say that “ Photography is the beauty of life captured.”
