‘If the farmers are rich, so is the nation.’
India is an agriculture-based country. 23rd December is commemorated as
National Farmers Day or Kisan Diwas in India. Farmers are the backbone
of our country. The day marks the birth anniversary of our former Prime
Minister, Chaudhary Charan Singh as he worked for the welfare of farmers.
An assembly was conducted by the students of Sr-KG Sapphire, Sr.-KG
Ruby and Jr-KG- Iris on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

The objective was to create awareness on the importance of farmers and
farming for a healthy and prosperous nation. Students shared the
important facts on Farmers Day and performed dances dedicated to the
farmers. The little Shishyans were very keen to know about farmers and
shared their thoughts.

At the end they took an oath to respect farmers and appreciate their dedication and hard work.
