The Shishukunj International School organised a mega Interschool Swimming Competition to nurture camaraderie and true sportsmanship among the swimming champs of Indore. The school is committed to providing a platform for budding talent and creating a reinvigorating sports culture in Indore. The Principal Dr.Vijay Singh Parihar declared the unprecedented championship open in the esteemed presence of the chief guest Mr. Vijay Sohni (Assistant Commissioner State GST, International Marathon Runner, and fitness coach), Directors Mr. Manoj Davey, Mr. Vineet Sethia, and special guest Ms. Bhavika Mansha Ramani. (An alumni of the Shishukunj International School, Main Campus, and State level Swimmer)
In the open swimming tournament around 185 best swimmers from 34 eminent schools of the city stepped in the spirit of competition with immense zeal. The championship comprised 45 events in three different age categories allowing the swimmers to display spectacular athleticism and sportsmanship while diving into the inviting water.
There were moments of breathtaking sporting ability as passionate performers outstripped their competitors in the lanes next to them. The state-of-the-art swimming complex echoed with acclamation for enthusiastic swimmers diving in and climbing out as achievers. The event culminated with the most anticipated Award Ceremony. Boys Group 1- Dhruv Khandelwal (The Shishukunj International School, Jhalaria Campus)
Girls Group 1- Ananya Jhulka (The Shishukunj International School, Jhalaria Campus)
Boys Group 2-Kanishk Surekha (Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar) and Priayamvad Singh (The Emerald Heights International School)
Girls group 2-Kanak Karware (Advance Academy) and Mansa Chandel (The Shishukunj International School, North Campus)
Boys Group 3 -Krishiv Doshi (The Shishukunj International School, Jhalaria Campus)
Girls Group 3- Pehal Sahu (The Shishukunj International School, Jhalaria Campus)
The championship boosted the confidence of talented swimmers and filled them with pride. Overall, the Shishukunj International School, Jhalaria Campus secured the first position, the Emerald Heights International School grabbed the second position, and the Shishukunj International School, North Campus bagged the third position.
