As I pen my thoughts on this paper
I can smell the fragrance of faint vapour
My day is somewhat forgotten in this thought
After taking my evening walk
I might as well give you a shock!
If god is there high up beyond the sky,
I hope to meet him after I die.
When death pays a visit
To my house by the shore,
I hope it doesn’t ask about my caste or gender.
I hope up there somewhere I find equality and tranquillity.
So I pray to the almighty
If knowingly or blindly, in love not hate,
Forgive me for my sins
So when I stand in the court of justice
Where the judge of all this splendour is present
There where my soul will say nothing but the truth
Where my soul is free of feelings and the relations it bound
Floating through the universe
Finding a new galaxy
Of some different clause
To diminish human flaws
Where I find a different GOD!
