The Inter-House Fusion Dance Competition 2019-20 for Classes IX-XII marked the beginning of the Teachers’ Day Festivities this year. This competition, one of the newly introduced activities of the session, consisted of group dance performances by all the four Houses. Participants were required to include at least one Indian and one Western dance form in their 3-4 minute long performance, with no upper limit to the number of dance styles. The dancers of Shishukunj staged an array of dance styles, including Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Bhangra, Lavani, Hip Hop, Salsa, Jazz, and lyrical. The dynamic and soulful performances by each House got the audience to tap their feet. The competition was not only a great visual treat for all, but also learning experience for the participants, who got to work in large groups.
