In October 2024, Grade VII students embarked on an unforgettable journey to the Eureka Adventure Camp, where they embraced the wilderness and stepped out of their comfort zones. Surrounded by nature, the students stayed in tents and participated in thrilling adventure activities like rock climbing, trekking, zip-lining , etc. This 4 day experience in the wilderness provided mental and physical stimulation to challenge mindsets.
One of the highlights of the trip was the “night out” experience, where students pitched their own tents and cooked their meals under the stars. This hands-on adventure taught them resilience, teamwork, and self-reliance, skills that are often hard to foster in a traditional classroom setting. With the support and cheering from their friends, students partook in adventure activities which initially seemed daunting to them!
Beyond the adrenaline rush of adventure sports, the camp encouraged students to build new friendships and discover life skills in an environment far removed from the comforts of home. While the wilderness felt unfamiliar at first, it soon became a home away from home, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
It was indeed a trip to remember for a lifetime.
