“Think green, act green, live green.”

Van Mahotsav or the forest festival celebrates the importance of trees and encourages people to plant more trees to save the environment. 

In order to highlight the significance of this festival, the Shishyans of Classes I and II were encouraged to take a walk in their surroundings, observe plants and their leaves carefully. They also found out the names of the plants whose leaves they observed. In the class, they enjoyed drawing and colouring the different leaves they observed.
