A day trip to Mandu was organised for the students of Class IV on 8th and 9th February 2024. Around 115 students visited Mandu on each day along with their educators and sports coaches. Full of excitement and brimming with enthusiasm, they boarded the bus around 8:00 am. During the journey, they sang songs, played antakshari and chatted merrily with their friends and peers. On the way, they took a halt for a scrumptious breakfast. Upon reaching, our young Shishyans enjoyed the guided trekking which lasted for two hours. After the strenuous walk, they had a hearty lunch and were again ready to explore the famous monuments of Mandu. The guided visit to Jahaz Mahal and Hindola Mahal and the information about their historical past really captured the students’ interest and attention. The facts and information shared by the guides about the Mandu region, its erstwhile rulers, how the monuments were built and the purpose for which they were constructed, piqued the students’ curiosity. With a lot of treasured memories and a heavy heart, they boarded the bus back to Indore. The students told their educators that they will always remember the trip as it gave them an opportunity to spend such a wonderful time together!
