The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition, started in 1883, is the world’s oldest international writing competition for schools. Thousands of young people take part in this competition each year and it is a great way to develop key skills through creative writing.

For 2021 the theme of the competition was Community in the Commonwealth.
