In response to the need of students for guidance in building their profiles for College Admissions, the school conducted a webinar on Profile Building for College Admissions in India and Abroad on June 17, 2021.

The webinar was hosted by ex Shishyan Ms. Pranavi Agrwal (Batch 2019-20) Pranavi is the former Vice Headgirl of the school and has secured admission to the coveted Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League Institution, to pursue her undergraduate degree: Bachelors of Science in Economics, with concentrations in Finance and Business Analytics.

During the webinar Pranavi shared her experience of College admissions in which she threw light on the following points:

• What is a student profile?
• Importance of good academic scores
• Weightage of co and extracurricular activities in your profile
• Ways to balance academics and co curricular during your school life
• College essays: points to remember while writing them
• Importance of teamwork, interpersonal skills, etc in your college admissions
• How to give ‘an extra edge’ to your application

All aspects of College Admissions were covered during the webinar. The webinar also included a Question and Answer session, in which Pranavi took questions from the audience and answered them very convincingly.
