November 27 2020
Constitution Day, also known as ‘Samvidhan Divas’, is celebrated in our country on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. Several competitions are organised by My Gov Platform. MyGov is a citizen engagement platform founded by the Government of India to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in their country’s governance and development. It is aimed at creating a common platform for Indian citizens to ’crowdsource governance ideas from citizens’ |
Arhant Doongarwal Class IX D participated in the following contests that were held under the Constitution Day 2020 celebrations: –
1. Quiz on Constitution of India and Fundamental Duties – The quiz was intended to raise awareness on the Constitution of India and Fundamental Duties as enshrined in the Indian Constitution, primarily intended for school children to raise awareness.
2. Pledge to Promise to abide by the Preamble of India – Under this task, the citizens were entitled to read the Preamble of India and this generated a sense of patriotism among the readers. It also made us recall our responsibility as citizens of this nation.
3. Pledge on #FightAgainstCorona – Under this initiative, the Indian Citizens were called upon to read a pledge about the Covid-19 fight. It helped us recall our obligations towards the government’s efforts in these unparalleled times.
Congratulations Arhant – you are truly a Model Citizen, we need many more like you ! Keep up the good work !
