With the aim of fostering curiosity, creativity and imagination in our young Shishyans, ANVESHIKA Lab was inaugurated in Shishukunj by Prof Pradeep Mathur, Director IIT Indore.

Anveshika, is originally an initiative of Prof. H C Verma, an Indian experimental physicist and Professor emerita of IIT Kanpur to generate interest in school and college students in Physics and also clarify certain basic principles. Currently there are 24 Anveshika labs in the country under the National Anveshika Network of India and Shishukunj will be the
25th such lab.

Prof Mathur spent considering time in the lab , looking at each and every model prepared by the students and listening to their explanations . He questioned the students on various concepts which were explained by them with great confidence.

In his address to the students , he congratulated the school for this wonderful initiative and hoped that this ‘tinkering’ lab will be put to full use by all the students and will indeed be a haven for scientific research and innovation.
