The Republic Day celebrations at Shishukunj  were a grand tribute to the spirit of patriotism and national pride. The day began with an energetic marathon, spreading the message “Conserve Water, Conserve Life.” Students and teachers enthusiastically participated in the same ,  thereby promoting environmental awareness .

Following the marathon, the school assembled for the formal celebrations. The national flag was hoisted with great reverence, and everyone joined in singing the national anthem, filling the air with a sense of unity while the NCC cadets saluted the flag.  Thereafter the Students’ Council administered the Pledge to the students  as well as the teachers.

 A heartfelt patriotic speech highlighted the significance of the Constitution and the responsibilities of citizens. Students  also recited a  patriotic poem and performed a melodious patriotic song, evoking deep emotions among all present.

It was also a day to acknowledge the 4 Houses of the school for their performance during the session 2024-25. Devi Ahilya House was declared the House with the Best Performance in cultural activities  while  Kalam   House received the trophy with the highest attendance.  Students rejoiced while the House Mistresses , the co House Mistresses as well the House Leaders came forward to receive the trophies.

The event left a lasting impact on students and educators, inspiring them to uphold their duties towards the nation and contribute to its progress. The day truly instilled a renewed sense of responsibility and love for the country.
