“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts and sometimes it even makes you sad. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.” – Anthony Bourdain
Ready for a change and ready to make memories , Shishyans of Classes VI – X set out to different destinations to explore new horizons during the Dusshera Break from 01- 09 October 2022.
Classes VI and VII went to Ranthambhor National Park where the majestic tiger made a grand appearance ! The students held their breath as the tiger walked past their canter and leisurely strolled across the path. It was a sight to behold , which no camera or video could do justice to.
Classes VIII- X ventured to the Adventure Camps. Class VIII headed to Tamia while Classes IX and X went to Tons and Tirthan respectively. The camp sites were awesome and the adventure activities involved rock climbing , river crossing, night out , cooking, etc.
Besides the fun, the learnings of these trips were tremendous. Students stepped out of their comfort zones, and learnt to travel independently , make new friends and participate in activities which seemed impossible, to say the least !
Our sincere gratitude to our travel partners Hideaways and Youreka for organizing these wonderful ‘learning’ expeditions for our students.
