As part of the Literary Fest, Shishukunj hosted an Inter School Turncoat Debate Competition on July 27, 2022 in which 14 leading schools participated.

A Turncoat Debate is a very interesting form of debate in which the speaker is given some time to prepare and thereafter is required to speak both for and against the topic.

The topic given to the students was : Cooperation is better than Competition.

After researching and preparing for this topic for an hour, the competition began amidst great enthusiasm. All the participants put forth their views FOR the topic with great confidence and conviction . At the sound of the bell, they changed their stance and spoke AGAINST the topic with equal confidence and conviction.

The judges of the event were :

• Mrs. Shweta Khandelwal

The results of the competition were as follows:

• First Position: The Shishukunj International School represented by Saksham Jain of Class IX
• Second Position: Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar School represented by Avdhesh Dubey
• Third Position: The Emerald Heights International School represented by Sambhav Kataria

The judges as well as the participants appreciated the arrangements made by the school and went back with wonderful memories.
