Theme: DIY and Save the Environment

In order to stress the urgent need to save the environment, students of Class VIII E took up DIY as the theme of their assembly. Not only DO IT YOURSELF, but do SOMETHING to save the environment !

They demonstrated simple things which the students could do in their homes which would go a long way in conserving the environment. Plant a sapling and nurture it into a beautiful plant, make a coaster or a stationery holder with old plastic bottles, make a decorative piece with pistachio shells, etc. The message REDUCE, REUSE AND RECYCLE was very well conveyed through this assembly.
